We live on the property together with our friendly dog, a few goats cheerful chickens.

This bright corner studio is part of our modern guesthouse, Ilé Ajé, a place designed for guests who appreciate tranquility, nature, and exceptional surroundings without being far from the sea.
Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a sea-view terrace and garden with lounge seating and a barbecue—perfect for slow breakfasts in the morning sun, long afternoons with a book, or aperitivos watching the changing light while overlooking the coast.
Inside, the studio is light-filled, comfortable, and designed to invite you to slow down and simply enjoy where you are.
Guests also have access to the shared pool, a large roof top terrace, ping pong table and an outdoor summer kitchen, creating a relaxed, unpretentious and welcoming guesthouse experience.
Our guesthouse consists of three independent, self-contained rentals. We live on the property and share the space with our friendly dog, a few goats, and cheerful chickens—adding to the authentic charm and peaceful rhythm of life here.
You can park on the premises. Know that the last 100m access road is quite steep. Extremely low sports car is not recommended.
Guest access
Just next to the studio, you have your own terrace and dedicated little garden area with a coal barbecue which is just for you.
Besides your dedicated space, feel free to use the pool, the ping pong table, the outdoor gym and the roof top terrace. These facilities are shared between the three rental units and us.
There is also a shared outdoor kitchen and dining area down in the olive grove.
We live on the lower level of the guest house. Our friendly dog lives outdoors and runs around on the property. The goats and chicken have their own gardens.
Off the property you have all the activities of the sea and beaches as well as good hiking and biking possibilities.
The studio is in a bigger house that we built in 2021, which serves as a guesthouse with three independent rental units all with A/C. Each one has its own entrance.

The old town is a picturesque typical village with a great choice of restaurants. (You can of course also cook in the outdoor kitchen which is fully equipped.)
We grow fruits and vegetables as well as olives to make our own olive oil. We also have some goats and sheep and two friendly dogs.
BEACHES: There are several beaches within 10-15 min driving (both private and public). You can also hike down along a trail with good shoes (25min.)
TOWN: 15-20 min. walk to the old town of Bordighera Alta along trail. The center of Bordighera has a beautiful long sea front promenade, cafés and restaurants and not least ‘gelaterias’ with homemade Italian ice cream.
HIKING: Walk the famous Beodo valley hiking trail.
FARTHER: 3 min. to A10 highway. France, Menton (15min) and Monaco (30min). Savona and Genova (app 60 min). Nearest Golf: Sanremo or Monte-Carlo.
Other things to note
The last 100m to get to the guesthouse is along a private road which is steep and narrow, Ligurian style. Remind yourself that people get down and up here every day 😉
Only issue can be very low, long front sports cars (Ferrari style) or very long RVs.
